Wise Monkey Mantel
Monkey Mantle began as a discarded carved headboard with excellent bones, strange charm, and no respectable plan.
Reimagined as a theatrical mantle piece, it was transformed with black paint, gold monkey figures, mirror, texture, and a fair amount of stubborn engineering. What could have stayed forgotten became part shrine, part mischief, part functional art object with an unreasonable amount of personality.
It is watchful, dramatic, slightly ridiculous, and exactly the kind of relic I like to resurrect.

La Reina Nocturna ~ The Night Queen
Reimagined Dresser & Nightstands
La Reina Nocturna is the darker sovereign—commanding, elemental, and richly layered. This expansive dresser and its matching end tables are grounded in a smoky, shadowed teal, offset by matte black drawers sculpted with deeply textured molded resin. Chunky gold hardware anchors each form with confidence and weight.
The crowning element is the poured epoxy surface: a luminous composition of blue, emerald green, black, and molten gold, moving like stone, sea, and night sky in quiet collision. Each top is framed in black trim and finished with gold corner metal moldings, reinforcing the architectural presence of the set.
These pieces are not merely coordinated—they are conversational, designed to live together or stand alone with equal authority. Functional, sculptural, and unapologetically bold, La Reina Nocturna transforms storage into statement and surface into spectacle.

Il Magnifico Rosso ~ The Ringmaster
Reimagined Tallboy Dresser
Il Magnifico Rosso commands the room with unapologetic presence and playful bravado. Its solid-wood construction and traditional dovetail joinery speak to enduring craftsmanship, while the carved façade introduces rhythm and movement—like a performer stepping into the spotlight.
Finished in a rich crimson red, the piece is embellished with gold floret accents and anchored by chunky gold knobs, striking a deliberate balance between whimsy and strength.
Five generous drawers offer substantial storage, each one framed as part of the spectacle rather than hidden from it.
There is a circus energy here—bold, joyful, and slightly rebellious—but never frivolous. Il Magnifico Rosso is equal parts muscle and mischief, designed for those who appreciate furniture with personality, presence, and a confident sense of play.

La Reina Azul ~ The Blue Queen
Reimagined Spanish-Style Mid-Century Dresser
La Reina Azul stands as a regal reinterpretation of a Spanish-influenced mid-century form—bold, grounded, and unapologetically present. Cloaked in a soft matte turquoise, the body is contrasted by deep black drawers and anchored by oversized, chunky gold handles. Delicate gold floret accents lend an Old World whisper, balancing strength with ornament.
Each of the nine drawers is lined with exotic Buddha art, an intimate and unexpected detail—meant to be discovered, not announced. The wood has been deeply nourished with Big Mama’s Spring Butter, restoring warmth and vitality to the original material before being sealed in a Dixie Belle Clear Coat (Flat), preserving both texture and touch.
This piece is as functional as it is commanding—equally suited for a dramatic bedroom, collected entry, or design-forward living space. La Reina Azul is not merely furniture; she is presence, patience, and power.

Mardi Gras Machine Table
The Mardi Gras Machine Table began with a vintage White sewing machine base, a fresh epoxy pour, and absolutely no interest in behaving politely.
Reimagined with black trim, rivets, restored hardware, and a working flywheel, this piece blends gothic steampunk structure with a red, purple, and gold Mardi Gras surface that refuses to be quiet. The epoxy top brings movement, gloss, and a little carnival drama, while the iron base keeps the whole thing grounded in history and grit.
It is part relic, part functional art, part beautiful bad idea, and currently serving as the perfect perch for my Alchemyic mini copper essence distillery.

Butterfly Book Mosaic Poetry
Large Format Original Art
These works are constructed using large-format frames containing a grid of nine open-face books, arranged three across and three down. Each book functions as both an individual object and a fragment of a larger visual field.
The final image is digitally composed, then printed, tiled, and meticulously applied to each open book. When assembled, the individual volumes form a cohesive mosaic—where text, image, and object merge into a single narrative surface.
From a distance, the work reads as a unified artwork. Up close, the seams, page edges, and book forms reassert themselves, reminding the viewer that this story is made of parts—each with its own past. These pieces explore memory, fragmentation, spectacle, and continuity, inviting the viewer to read visually, emotionally, and literally.

Pendant Lighting
La Lanterne Apicole blends old-world ironwork with the quiet drama of exposed light. Suspended from a wrought-iron filigree wall bracket, the lamp features a woven vintage-style cord that carries a large beehive Edison filament bulb, allowing the glow itself to become the focal point.
The iron bracket introduces strength, scrollwork, and architectural presence, while the oversized bulb emits a warm, honeyed light—soft, ambient, and deeply atmospheric. A commanding four-tap absinthe fountain inspired by the ritual service of late 19th-century Parisian cafés.
Featuring a clear glass reservoir crowned with a sculptural metal finial, this fountain rests atop a turned pedestal base with four individual taps, each adorned with heart-shaped handles — designed for communal service and theatrical presentation.
In traditional absinthe preparation, chilled water is slowly released from each tap, dripping over sugar cubes into waiting glasses below. This piece embodies that ceremony — a functional ritual object and sculptural centerpiece in one.
