Multimedia artist Sherry McGuire has quietly installed a new dimensional showroom environment inside Reminisce Antiques – A Village of Shops, offering an early glimpse of her expanding practice ahead of a formal March unveiling.
Conceived not as a conventional display but as an artist stage, the space presents a cohesive environment where art and architecture intersect. At its core is a preview of The 52 Archetypes — McGuire’s ongoing study of identity expressed through richly layered mixed-media works framed in vintage settings and suspended in luminous epoxy. Yet the installation moves beyond the wall.
Where art meets architecture, objects are reimagined. Vintage forms shift into sculptural presence. Functional pieces become dimensional statements. Texture, surface, and structure converge — transforming the familiar into something layered, intentional, and immersive.
Subtle elements throughout the space hint at a broader creative vocabulary: poetic literature works not yet formally unveiled, and select vintage costuming from McGuire’s conceptual photo studies, woven into the environment as artifacts of narrative and performance.
“This space reflects expansion,” says McGuire.“My work has explored identity through surface and symbol. Here, it extends into structure — into object, into environment. It’s not just displayed; it’s staged.”
The installation precedes a formal Grand Opening scheduled for March 8, 2026. For now, the space remains intentionally understated, inviting discovery within the natural rhythm of the Reminisce experience.
Location: Reminisce Antiques – A Village of Shops
